Written in 1973, Living Together is a play by British playwright Alan Ayckbourn. It is one of the trilogy, The Norman Conquests, three plays that cover a traumatic family weekend in a Victorian country house from the vantage point of three different areas: dining room, living room and garden. Living Together covers the action that takes place in the living room.
The central character is Norman, a dishevelled librarian, who is married to Ruth but fancies his sisters-in-law, Annie and Sarah. Annie, in turn, is being courted by Tom, a dim vet, while Sarah is frustrated with her marriage to the boring Reg. Barns Green Players performed another of the trilogy, Table Manners in 2015. Living Together is being Directed by Bridget Tidey and Claire Parkes.

This is one of Barns Green Players’ very popular comedy 'bring your own food' shows so why not get a few friends together and make a great night out of it. The doors open at 7pm which gives you time to settle in and eat your meal. Drinks from our licensed bar will be brought to your table by members of the players who will look after you throughout the evening. The round tables complete with white table cloths can seat 8 people, so if you can make up a full table of 8 that would be great. If not, you can just form part of another table. Performance start at 8:00pm
